A few minutes from the apartment along the Rue d'Aligre, including the area of the Faubourg Saint Antoine and the Rue de Charenton, the Market Aligre is one of the most colorful, economic and heterogeneous markets of the city. We are in the middle of the 12th arrondissement, one of the most multiethnic and sparkling of Paris: dynamic place full of colorful stalls, exotic products and strong perfumes that will involve you immediately. Into the indoor market in lobby Beauvau, you will find lots of fruits, herbs and spices, fish, cheese, bread, meat and food stores and there is also a flea market.

Towards Place de la Bastille, along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, you will notice the large number of furniture stores. Indeed, the district is historically a place of production to the city of Paris. It includes lots of Parisian designers and architects. This creative atmosphere is at its height in the passage of Cheval Blanc, with entry by 2 Rue de la Roquette. The passage, which in the XVII century was a lumber yard, gives access to a network of courtyards called with the months of the year.

On the Place de la Bastille, at number 1 Rue de la Roquette, the Café Le Bastille is a meeting point for residents of surrounding neighborhoods. At the cocktail hour is the real den of the place and its terrace, summer and winter, is filled. Remarkable the creamed coffee, in our opinion among the best in Paris.

Just steps away, at the corner of Rue Saint-Sabin and Rue Sedaine, the Café de l'Industrie is a nice and trendy place where you can eat in a dynamic atmosphere.
